On Roe v. Wade

I was recently asked by a TV News program for a statement on our position on Roe v. wade. I thought it appropriate to publish it via our blog. Please let me know what you think and add your own thoughts.

Every day that Roe v. Wade remains the law of the land we experience another World Trade center tragedy, as each day 3,500 innocent civilian babies are murdered by terrorists in surgical masks. The only difference between these and the events of 9/11 is that we all saw the horror of the World Trade Center on TV, while abortions are shrouded in the secrecy of surgical suites. Televise abortions and see how long Americans will put up with legal murder. They would be outraged, as well they should be. Roe v. Wade was based on bad law and a political agenda. It must be overturned for the sake of babies yet unborn, and for the sake of the first of all Constitutional rights -the right to life.

I think your point about televising abortions could be applied to the death penalty as well. If we televised what is state sanctioned murder, it would cease as well. The pro life movement goes farther than just abortion. If we televised the poor and hungry on television, it would cease, and those without health care, it would cease. The pro life movement goes farther than just abortion.
